Weiroch Lodge Terms & Conditions

  • weekly prices are from Sunday 5pm till Sunday 9.30am unless otherwise agreed in writing when booking
  • the price includes bedlinen, towels, heating, lighting and initial logs for woodburner
  • a non-refundable deposit is required with each booking to secure your holiday. This should be 35% of the weekly charge
  • the balance is required 8 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. If we do not receive your balance by 7 weeks prior to your holiday, then the booking will be considered to be cancelled
  • if you are booking 10 weeks or less prior to the start of your holiday, then the price must be paid in full at the time of booking
  • once your deposit for Weiroch Lodge is received, your booking will be confirmed in writing
  • the booking must be for holiday purposes only
  • only those mentioned in the booking form are permitted to sleep in the property
  • we reserve the right to ask for withdrawal without notice of any guest whose conduct is considered by us to be prejudicial, and in such an event no refund shall be made
  • dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement only (maximum 2)
  • no children under 10yrs accepted at Weiroch Lodge unless by prior arrangement
  • Weiroch Lodge is strictly a no smoking establishment
  Good Housekeeping/Damage/Breakages (Security) deposit
  • your Good Housekeeping/Damage/Breakages (Security) deposit will be returned a few days after your departure provided Covid-19 guidelines have been met, no excess cleaning has been required and all fitments, furniture, equipment and other contents in or on the property are left in like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday let
  • an excess cleaning charge of £15 per hour will be levied if the Lodge is not left in good order and in a clean and hygienic condition, particularly the W.C's and kitchen appliances. The total amount will be deducted from your deposit along with the cost of any breakages or repairs to damage caused during your stay
  • Covid - all guests must follow the Scottish government guidelines while staying in the accommodation. To avoid risk of transmission and in line with Covid advice, you are expected to maintain the cleanliness of the property during your stay. Surface cleaners are provided under the sinks and there is a vacuum cleaner, brooms etc. in the utility room cupboard. On departure, all rubbish must be removed from bins and placed in the appropriate outside dustbins. Day visitors should be kept to minimum and you are responsible for obtaining their contact details. If any of your party are self-isolating or showing symptoms of Covid-19 we must be informed immediately
  Arrival and departure times
  • on the day of your arrival, Weiroch Lodge will be ready for you by 5pm
  • on the day of your departure, Weiroch Lodge must be vacated by 9.30am latest
  Keys and directions
  • details of how to find us will be sent on receipt of balance of payment. We will be at Weiroch Lodge to greet you, show you round the property and give you the keys
  • should you cancel your holiday we will try and re-let the property. If we are successful we will return any monies paid, minus the non-refundable deposit. If we are unsuccessful then we will retain the amounts shown in the table below

  • in the event of our being unable to provide the accommodation due to circumstances beyond our control, i.e. not being available or suitable to let for any period, all monies received from you, or an amount proportional to the unexpired time, will be returned and you will have no further claim against us.
  • Covid - if you are unable to travel to take your holiday because of a Covid related national or local lockdown you will get a full refund. The refund guarantee applies only to the address given on the booking form at the time of booking being put into a lockdown, and when the travel restriction coincides with the period of your holiday. The guarantee covers national and local lockdowns but does not cover you (or members of your party) for being unable to travel because you (or a member of your party) falls ill with Covid, or are required to quarantine or self isolate. These events can be covered by you taking out travel insurance
  • when booking Weiroch Lodge, you agree to keep the property and all fitments, furniture, equipment and other contents in or on the property in the like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday let. You will make good any damage or loss that may occur during the period of the holiday let and pay for any breakages.
  • we accept no responsibility for any injury to guests, or for loss or damage of property (including pets), vehicles or vehicle contents during your occupancy
  • we shall not be liable for any defect or malfunction of equipment, machinery or appliances in the property or for any material loss, damage, additional expense or inconvenience arising from its plumbing, electrical services or exceptional weather.
  • we reserve the right to gain access to the property or grounds at any reasonable time during the holiday occupancy (e.g. to undertake essential maintenance to the property, equipment, machinery or appliances)
